OPENING OF THE FESTIVAL

On the first day of the festival, Tuesday, July 16, all students must be in the conservatory hall at 8:15 a.m. to register and go to the "Junior Classroom" for the presentation at 8:40 a.m. and to be able to begin classes at 9am.

FESTIVAL STAFF

FIMValencia will have 9 staff members who will be identified by the Festival t-shirts and will always be at the entrance to our headquarters to help you in everything they can.

We will have two Staff people who will be solely and exclusively in charge of the FIMJunior.

A Staff person will always be in the “FIMJunior Classroom”, while the other Staff person will accompany all groups of students to complementary activities.

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

FIMValencia is a festival that offers music courses of the highest level for all ages. At no time is it an event organized by a school. The first time a student does not follow the guidelines established by the staff, they will be expelled from the festival and will not be able to participate in any activity. This will never mean a refund of tuition.

The conservatory will always have its doors open and as we have already informed you in our responsible declaration, we are not responsible if a student decides to leave the festival facilities. Our Staff will be in charge of the care and well-being of the students, but they will not be accompanied to the bathroom or to their individual classes.

We remind you that students must be responsible for following their schedule and attending their classes punctually. However, our Staff will be with them helping them with everything they need.

If they wish, the parents or guardians of the students can accompany the student to their classroom at the beginning of the day, as well as pick them up from their classroom at the end of the day's classes, but at no time can they attend FIMJunior activities throughout the day. tomorrow.

As we already informed you at the time of registration in our “Terms and conditions” section, our audiovisual team will be taking photos and videos of the event during the week. You will be able to find this audiovisual material in the coming months on our website and social networks.

CLASSROOMS

FIMJunior will have a “FIMJunior Classroom” for all students who are not in individual class. It will be Room 114, on the first floor.

All instrument classes will be on the first floor, very close to the “FIMJunior Classroom”. Only the Percussion class will be found on Floor “-1”.

Students will go and return from individual classes to the “FIMJunior Classroom” alone since we do not have enough staff to attend to each student individually.

FUNCTIONING

On the first day, after registering at the entrance of the conservatory, all students will meet in the “FIMJunior Classroom” (114) at 08:40, to introduce the Staff and teaching staff. Next, each group of instruments will go to their class with the teacher.

The rest of the days, the student must attend class directly first thing in the morning to take the collective class.

When the students finish the group classes, they must go to the “FIMJunior Classroom”, where the Staff staff will receive them and accompany them to their next complementary activities during the morning.

At 10 a.m., after the instrument collective, the students will have a "free" hour in which the Staff members will prepare activities to get to know each other and share interests. During that hour, students can also study for their next classes or have lunch.

At 1:00 p.m., students will have a half-hour break before rehearsals; those who have not had lunch beforehand can do so.

From 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. there will be the wind and percussion rehearsal and from 2:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. there will be the string orchestra rehearsal.

Starting at 2:15 p.m., the wind and percussion students will no longer have group classes and if they have already taken individual classes, it would mean that they do not have any more classes that day. If they wish, they can march. However, our Staff will be in the “FIMJunior Classroom” until 3:00 p.m. in case any student needs to wait to be picked up.

Keep in mind that on Saturday, July 20, we will hold the end-of-course audition at 1:30 p.m. where all FIMJunior students will perform.

If a student prefers to listen to other classmates' classes instead of doing the complementary activities of the FIMValencia "Junior", they must notify the Staff so that they take it into account. Students can also listen to FIMValencia classes (more advanced), but in no case will they be able to interrupt the class and will only be able to enter and leave the classroom when a student finishes their session, to disturb the class as little as possible.

CONCERTS CLOTHING

AUTHORIZATION AND RESPONSIBLE DECLARATION FOR MINORS

In order to participate in the FIMValencia, minor students need their parents or legal guardians to fill out the participation authorization and responsible declaration that we attach below. Please send it signed before July 1 to our email or WhatsApp.

Failure to sign this document exempts the Festival from all responsibility regarding minors.

OTHER INFORMATION OF INTEREST

We recommend that students bring their own lunch from home. The conservatory has a cafeteria for lunch, but staff will not accompany students to the cafeteria. You will have the opportunity to have lunch at 10:00 or 13:00.

Attendance diplomas: after the Festival you will be sent a form to fill out with your information, and at the end of the summer you will receive a personalized PDF diploma.
